The Rangemaster Aura 90cm Induction Range Cooker combines contemporary British design with the flexibility of a five-zone induction hob, two spacious electric fan ovens and a separate Flexi-grill. Designed for modern family kitchens, the Aura offers an impressive 80-litre main oven alongside a 67-litre tall fan oven, allowing multiple dishes to be prepared simultaneously. With responsive Power Boost induction cooking, practical telescopic shelving and elegant, streamlined detailing, it brings the versatility of a full-size range cooker into a convenient 90cm footprint.
- Five-zone induction hob – Fast, responsive cooking with nine power levels, Power Boost technology and an easy-clean ceramic glass surface.
- 80-litre main fan oven – Spacious electric fan cooking with seven shelf positions and a convenient telescopic shelf runner.
- 67-litre tall fan oven – Additional cooking flexibility with nine shelf positions and four supplied shelves, ideal for batch baking and entertaining.
- Separate 29-litre Flexi-grill – Independent electric grilling with full-width and half-width operation.
- Practical safety features – Child lock, residual heat indicators and overheat detection for added peace of mind.
- Contemporary British craftsmanship – Streamlined cabinetry, modern control dials, large viewing window and a choice of complementary finishes.
The Aura 90cm Induction is particularly well suited to households wanting the capacity and cooking flexibility of a range cooker without requiring a 110cm installation space. Compared with the dual-fuel version, induction offers a smooth, easier-to-clean hob, rapid heat adjustment and excellent low-temperature control, although induction-compatible cookware is required.
NORTHXSOUTH BUYER'S BEST PICK
Modern induction performance with the practicality of two generous fan ovens.
The Aura 90 Induction strikes an excellent balance between capacity, convenience and kitchen space. Its combination of an 80-litre main oven, 67-litre tall oven and independent Flexi-grill means there is ample room for everything from everyday family meals to elaborate Sunday roasts. The induction hob adds fast, precise temperature control without the cleaning demands associated with conventional gas burners.
We particularly recommend this model for busy households, keen bakers and customers upgrading from a traditional freestanding cooker. The tall oven is especially useful for cooking multiple trays simultaneously, while the Power Boost induction zones make everyday tasks such as boiling water and preparing quick meals particularly convenient.
Five-Zone Induction Hob with Power Boost
The expansive induction hob offers five independently controlled cooking zones, providing ample room for multiple pans and dishes. Unlike conventional ceramic electric hobs, induction technology heats compatible cookware directly, delivering rapid temperature adjustments, responsive simmering and efficient energy transfer.
Each cooking zone features nine adjustable power levels, allowing the heat to be tailored to the task. Power Boost provides additional short-term heating performance when rapid boiling or high-temperature cooking is required.
The smooth glass surface is considerably easier to maintain than traditional gas pan supports, while residual heat indicators highlight zones that remain hot after cooking. Integrated child lock and overheat protection provide additional reassurance in busy kitchens.
Spacious 80-Litre Main Electric Fan Oven
The left-hand main oven provides an impressive 80 litres of cooking capacity, making it ideal for larger roasting joints, family casseroles and preparing multiple dishes. Fan-assisted heat circulation helps distribute temperature throughout the cavity, supporting consistent cooking results.
Seven shelf positions and two supplied flat shelves offer flexibility when accommodating different dishes and cookware. A telescopic shelf runner provides convenient access to heavier roasting trays, reducing the need to reach into the hot oven.
The large viewing window makes it easier to monitor cooking progress without regularly opening the oven door, helping minimise unnecessary heat loss.
67-Litre Tall Fan Oven for Additional Cooking Flexibility
The right-hand tall fan oven provides a further 67 litres of capacity, with nine shelf positions and four supplied shelves. Its vertical configuration is particularly useful for baking several trays of biscuits, pastries or smaller dishes simultaneously.
Because the ovens operate independently, different dishes can be prepared at separate temperatures without compromising cooking space. The combination is especially practical for larger family meals, batch cooking and entertaining.
Both oven cavities feature enamel cleaning surfaces, simplifying routine maintenance.
Independent 29-Litre Flexi-Grill
The Aura incorporates a dedicated 29-litre electric Flexi-grill with a 2.3kW heating element. Full-width and half-width settings offer greater flexibility, allowing smaller portions to be grilled without necessarily using the entire grilling area.
The separate grill is particularly useful when both main ovens are occupied. Prepare toast, vegetables, grilled meats or finish dishes with a golden topping while the ovens continue cooking independently.
Everyday Convenience and Contemporary Design
The Aura's design combines modern proportions with the practical qualities expected from a traditional British range cooker. Its streamlined handles, distinctive doors and thoughtfully arranged controls create an attractive focal point without overwhelming the kitchen.
An LED touch clock provides convenient timekeeping, while removable oven shelves simplify cleaning. The thoughtfully designed oven configuration provides considerable cooking capacity within a nominal 90cm width.
Dimensions and Electrical Installation
The Aura 90 measures 900mm wide, with an adjustable height of 895–935mm. Cabinet depth is 604mm excluding the handles and 643mm including them, making careful measurement essential when planning surrounding cabinetry and worktop clearances.
As an all-electric induction range cooker, professional electrical installation is required. Rangemaster specifies a maximum connected electrical load of 14.78kW and a minimum amperage requirement of 32A. The installer must assess the available supply, protective devices and installation requirements in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable electrical regulations.
Induction cooking requires compatible magnetic-based cookware. Customers replacing a gas or conventional electric cooker should check existing pans and electrical infrastructure before installation.
