Welcoming High Flying DJI

Needless to say, we are more than a little excited to welcome aboard DJI.

Prior to partnering with any new company we take our time to consider the strengths and merits of each brand and their product portfolio.

As you can imagine, it didn't take long to convince our team that DJI was a perfect fit.

Here's a few interesting facts we found from WeTalkUAV.com

Humble origins

'The CEO and founder of DJI is Frank Wang, but he was originally named Wāng Tāo. In 2006, Wang started his company in a dorm room while studying at Hong Kung University of Science and Technology.

Originally, DJI meant Dà-Jiāng Sciences, but it eventually became Dà-Jiāng Innovation.'

Game changer

'On August 30,2017, DJI won an Emmy Award® for Technology and Engineering from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. DJI’s products have changed how TV shows are filmed.

Directors and cinematographers have used DJI’s drones to take aerial imaging to a whole new level, and that is evident in shows such as The Amazing Race, American Ninja Warrior, Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones and more.'

King of the skies

'In 2017, DJI’s drones led the North American market for UAVs by a whopping 66 percent, according to Recode.'
